The day started with Jess and her bridesmaids getting ready in one of Peak Edge Hotel's fabulous suites with the girls in matching silk Japanese style robes - the start of the travel theme that continued throughout the day. Hair was expertly styled and makeup was beautifully applied by Charlotte and Maxine at Dolled Up. A beautiful ceremony followed, with Jess given away by her brother, before a storm dashing session of romantic portraits outside by the famous gritstone boulder. After the family portraits taken undercover in the decked area, it was time for some fun with the groomsmen who obliged with wild jumping and somewhat dubious squat thrusts in the car park. The wedding breakfast had a strong travel theme in testimony to Jess and Craig's globe-trotting life style, with each table named after their favourite destinations and heart details crafted from maps of the world. After some emotional speeches it was time for the first dance by which time night had fallen, and so the happy couple took the opportunity to head outside again for some after-dark bride and groom portraits. It was a beautiful day, and thank you so much for letting me share it with you and provide these beautiful memories.
