A look back at 2017

It's that time of year again - 2017 was a truly special year and 2018 looks to be an amazing year with lots of wonderful wedding stories waiting to be told. 2017 was made even more special with Helen and I joining the many happy couples tying the knot with our own wedding last July. I have been fortunate to work with many wonderful wedding suppliers and have forged many new friendships along the way. My highlight of the year, apart from my own wedding, was not in any single wedding but in the many stories my images tell and the wealth of memories I have given my clients. Being a wedding photographer really is a privileged job to have.

If you are looking for a wedding story teller to photograph your wedding in 2018, 2019 or 2020 then please do get in touch for a chat.

This is a video review of my favourite images from 2017. Enjoy - and tell your friends too.

Adele and Andrew's wedding was full of surprises for the guests and photographer, the biggest of which was the spectacular firework grand finale. The nicest surprise though was reserved for the photographer in the form of beautiful evening light and a stunning sunset. A perfect day!

Beautiful evening light and fireworks wedding photography.

Jess and Craig's Easter wedding

edge peak edge hotel wedding by sheffield wedding photographer

If you want dramatic wedding photography then you need to invite a storm, and Storm Katie turned up at just the right moment. Jess and Craig's wedding on Easter Sunday at Peak Edge Hotel was a beautiful day filled with fun, romance, hail stones, dark clouds, and brilliant sunshine. Even with the storm, Jess's spring flowers and the men's blue suits made sure there were never really any dark moments at all.
