A fabulous summer wedding
Lauren and Josh did the deed at a gorgeous country house hotel in the Peak District. The Maynard is a real gem with stunning views beaten only by Lauren in her gorgeous dress.
Even though I am now a Norfolk Wedding Photographer, my strong links and love of the Peak District bring me back for weddings time and time again.
The morning
Lauren chose the bridal suite at The Maynard to get ready, and was made up by the brilliant Pacha who is always great fun to work with.
The ceremony
A lovely and heart felt ceremony in the ballroom. Josh said he would cry and, true to his word, he couldn't hold back when Lauren came down the aisle.

It isn't often that confetti gets its own section, but this one was pretty spectacular!

The Maynards is, I believe, one of the few venues in the UK with a full size sprung ballroom dance floor and Lauren and Josh's guests certainly made maximum use of it. With so many people dancing all at once it was like being on a trampoline. Awesome fun!
