Chris is the friendliest, calmest and most patient person to have with you on your wedding day. His wealth of experience lends itself to helping the morning go smoothly for the bridal party and his overall personality and company make him feel like one of your guests rather than your photographer.
I personally hate having my photo taken but Chris put me at ease and our pre wedding photo shoot really helped to reassure me and also has produced some lovely couple shots that we can keep.

"Me and my husband are well known in our families for absolutely hating our photos being taken – we are always the two moaning and dragging our feet whenever there’s a family photo, but we both knew that for our wedding day, we’d completely regret not getting amazing photos. I don’t think we could possibly have chosen anyone better than Chris – not only is he a phenomenal photographer, with the most incredible romantic and yet completely natural style – but he also put the both of us at ease. His manner is just so relaxed and friendly and yet completely professional, it just eases your worries and makes you feel so much less awkward about the whole thing. The direction he gives is easy to follow and so simple and relaxed, it still feels completely natural and right. This wasn’t just great for us, but helped put our guests at ease, and he did his best to get everyone’s names right and spoke with everyone, so he blended right in with everyone.
Chris was absolutely amazing on the day, not only did he get us amazing shots, including every group shot we’d asked for, but he gave us so much guidance and direction for the whole day – not just for photos but he helped steer everyone and give us structure for after the ceremony, it just made everything so much less awkward for us both.
I would definitely recommend to anyone who feels uncomfortable with pictures, or even just a bit unsure, to have the preshoot with Chris – not only do you get some extra, gorgeous photos with your partner, but for us gave us the chance to get a feel for Chris’s style and I think ultimately made it easier for us on the day – we knew what to expect and that it wouldn’t be a painful experience! For us, Chris recommended Surprise View in the Peaks – which was absolutely beautiful – and completely freezing, but his relaxed attitude made it fun despite the weather, and we got some beautiful shots we will definitely be showing off in the future.
We can’t really praise him highly enough for everything he did for us, and can’t recommend him enough – you can absolutely guarantee that with Chris you will get pictures you will adore, even if you normally can’t stand pictures of yourself."

"We have had so much positive feedback regarding Chris, that it is difficult to know where to start. From our first meeting with him we felt completely at ease. He was well prepared, extremely professional and came equipped with several albums of his previous work, which completely blew us away. Our pre wedding shoot enabled us to get to know him before the big day. We took the children with us and Chris was very accommodating of that. The shots from the pre wedding shoot are fantastic and he even managed to get some lovely natural shots of the children. By the time the big day came he was practically one of the guests and was more than willing to muck in during the morning preparations, whilst capturing those special moments. He was there from very early on, right into the evening reception. He was fantastic with our guests who all remarked on his professionalism and skill. We received our album and USB and we couldn't be happier. His work is stunningly unique and we couldn't be happier that we chose Chris to capture our special day. He is worth every single penny."

"Considering I've never been the biggest fan of having my photo taken, when my wife chose Chris for our wedding on the 27/05/17, I had my reservations. Thankfully, from our initial visit and meeting my concerns were put to rest almost immediately. Chris's professionalism and personable nature shone through in all communication in person and digital. He gave me confidence when we had our pre-wedding shoot, which all the more confirmed hiring him was one of the best decisions Olivia and I had made for the day. His fly-on-the-wall and non-forced style made it much more enjoyable when looking back through our day in photo form.
